Pride Information
The University of Utah's presence In the Utah Pride Parade emphasizes accessible healthcare, delivering essential public health education, preventive screenings, and resources beneficial to all community members. By actively engaging in the Utah Pride Parade, the university upholds its mission while strictly adhering to institutional neutrality, complying fully with legislative requirements. The University of Utah is not a sponsor for the 2025 Utah Pride Celebrations.

Festival Boothing
Boothing and tabling occur over two days (Saturday and Sunday). The planning team has collaborated with Utah Pride Center to secure 6 spots within the festival where our tents can be set up. If your department is interested in being at the parade or volunteering at a booth, please work with your representatives:

The University of Utah's participation in the Utah Pride Parade strategically aligns with institutional priorities related to community outreach, recruitment, accreditation, and public health. This involvement strengthens relationships within the broader Salt Lake City community and the state of Utah, reflecting the university’s commitment to public service, community engagement, and healthcare accessibility.
Any department, faculty, staff or student at the University of Utah can participate with the University of Utah in this year’s Pride Parade and at the Festival. We are asking that participants pay close attention to and follow the guidelines being presented for the parade, boothing/tabling and representing the university as we will continue to remain in compliance with state and federal policies and legislation throughout this event.
